While Marlon Moraes ’ WSOF bantamweight title won’t be on the line when he meets Cody Bollinger in next weekend’s WSOF 13 headliner, the Brazilian considers it a title match and vows to send his opponent the belt with a loss. The Sept. 13 matchup, which headlines the NBC Sports Network-televised fight card at Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Penn., was put together on just nine days’ notice after Moraes’ (13-4-1) original opponent, Josh Hill (10-0), withdrew from the contest due to injury. Bollinger (16-2), who stepped in as the last-minute replacement, has a history of struggling to make the 135-pound bantamweight limit.
