In an FS1-televised UFC Fight Night 106 bout at Centro de Formacao Olimpica do Nordeste in Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil, Reneau (7-3-1 MMA, 3-2-1 UFC) finished strong but ultimately settled for a majority draw with former women’s bantamweight title challenger Correia (10-2-1 MMA, 4-2-1 UFC). Following the three-round bout, the cageside judges rendered two 28-28 scores and one 29-27 for Reneau – all three acknowledging Reneau’s dominant third round, which she won via 10-8 scores after a big head kick connected and staggered Correia.
