If the UFC does return to Russia in April, there’s a heavyweight hoping for a spot on the card. With reports surfacing that the UFC is targeting an April 20 date for an event in Saint Petersburg, Marcin Tybura (17-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) is getting ahead of the curve and lobbying for an opportunity to compete on the card. The Polish veteran competed seven times in Russia during his run under the M-1 Global banner, where he was the promotion’s heavyweight champ.
