It appears that Bellator has lost one half of its main event for its return to California later this month. Welterweight Lorenz Larkin (20-7 MMA, 2-2 BMMA) late Thursday posted on Instagram that he has had to pull out of the Bellator 219 headliner against former champion Andrey Koreshkov (21-3 MMA, 12-3 BMMA). Larkin did not give a reason for his withdrawal, and Bellator officials have not yet made a formal announcement. It is not yet known of Koreshkov will remain on the card against a replacement opponent on four weeks’ notice
