Following the first back-to-back victories in her career, flyweight Kaline “Dark Angel” Medeiros had her winning streak snapped this February by Chelsea Bailey via unanimous decision. For Medeiros, the loss came during a transitional period, thus she wasn’t able to prepare as properly as she would have liked for the bout. “I was in the middle of changing fight camps and a lot of things in my life and I think that messed things up a little bit,” Medeiros told MMAWeekly.com. “It’s not an excuse, but after the fight I really did try to get myself better in everything I needed to get better.” Medeiros has now fully settled in at Gracie Fitness and feels her game has become more complete over the last several months.
