The muay Thai promotion hosted its latest offering on Friday, and the AXS TV-televised event took place at Sunset Station in Las Vegas. In the Lion Fight 22 headliner, Jo Nattawut (54-10-2) cruised and scored a lopsided unanimous-decision victory over Salah Khalifa (36-6-1) to capture the organization’s new super welterweight title. Nattawut used a variety of kicks, including some neck-snapping and body-bending front kicks, to set up the win. A champ was also crowned in the co-headliner as Tiffany Van Soest (12-2-1) sliced and diced Bernise Alldis (35-4) on her way to a fourth-round TKO victory via cuts. Van Soest, who’s hoping she can be a Ronda Rousey-like figure in the muay Thai world, reclaimed the women’s featherweight title with the victory
