Filed under: Featured Videos , News , UFC , Videos LOS ANGELES – Not only is Conor McGregor , who has an upcoming UFC featherweight title fight, focused on a potential move to lightweight, he’s willing to go even bigger – “right up to welterweight.” The outspoken McGregor (17-2 MMA, 5-0 UFC) has talked and fought his way to a title fight with reigning 145-pound champion Jose Aldo (25-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) at UFC 189, which takes place July 11 and airs on pay-per-view from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. However, he’s already looking ahead to subsequent challenges. During the current international UFC 189 World Championship Tour, McGregor has generated a number of headlines. On Monday, for example, he said he’ll leave the featherweight division if the current crop of 145-pounders “ beg my forgiveness ” and admit they want him to get out of their way.
