Dave Burrow Anthony Njokuani into the main event of Legacy FC 38 – at the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas – looking to get his career back on track in his first fight since being released from the UFC. But things did not work out the way he was hoping, as he was submitted in the third round of a fight he’d been controlling from the opening bell. In Dave Burrow , Njokuani (16-10) faced a fighter who was coming into the fight on two weeks notice, but was known to be very dangerous on the ground. Despite his ground game, Burrow (12-5) came out ready to trade strikes, working some punches as well as kicks to the leg and body before an accidental poke to Njokuani’s eye led to a brief stoppage. Njokuani came out of the foul break and began to let fly with very quick punches and kicks that put his speed advantage on display. With Burrow not looking for a takedown, Njokuani was able to get loose with thudding leg kicks before Burrow landed a second accidental eye poke
