Magomed Mustafaev didn’t go without an opponent for long. Not long after word filtered out that Renato Moicano had to drop out of their planned lightweight bout on Oct. 17, Mustafaev has a new foe, and an intriguing one to boot. MMA Junkie has learned Mustafaev will now face undefeated KSW lightweight and featherweight champion Mateusz Gamrot on the latter’s UFC debut. Mustafaev (15-3 MMA, 3-2 UFC) has dropped two of his past three and is coming off a split decision loss to Brad Riddell in February. Prior to that, he scored a “Performance of the Night” finish over Rafael Fiziev.
