However, that doesn’t mean they’re not going to try to inflict violence upon one another in Saturday’s UFC 223 headliner. After their lightweight title bout came together on just six days’ notice following an injury to Tony Ferguson, the heat for the new UFC 223 main event between Nurmagomedov (25-0 MMA, 9-0 UFC) and Holloway (19-3 MMA, 15-3 UFC) got turned up a few notches at today’s pre-event news conference.
