MIAMI – Karate Combat president Asim Zaidi is critical of his own performance as a leader, so when he sees another face of a combat sports promotion making questionable moves, he has plenty of things to say. In this case, “President Awesome” directed some criticism toward’s PFL co-founder Donn Davis, who is effectively one of the frontmen for the MMA promotion. Davis has recently been the subject of criticism due to the PFL’s handling of Bellator fighters it acquired, his knowledge of MMA, and more. “Honestly, I hate saying this because he seems like a nice guy – I would love to sit with him and just understand,” Zaidi told MMA Junkie. “Maybe I’m misunderstanding him.
