Justin Gaethje has been calling out Conor McGregor for years, but now, to Gaethje’s amusement, the shoe is on the other foot, and McGregor now wants to fight him . UFC president Dana White confirmed the plan is to have Gaethje unify against champion Khabib Nurmadomedov in September, but McGregor (22-4 MMA, 10-2 UFC) is confident that he’ll slide in to face Gaethje next instead.
