For UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones the decision is easy. It’s either fight former titleholder Stipe Miocic or interim champ Tom Aspinall , and Jones (27-1 MMA, 21-1 UFC) remains steadfast the former is the way to go for his next fight. In a series of posts Thursday on X, Jones laid out an explanation as to why he is a staunch supporter of potential fights against Miocic and UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira , as opposed to British heavyweight Aspinall, who holds the interim title. Jones’ main points revolved around the recognition and attention fighting more well-known names would bring.
