UFC on FOX 12 was dubbed the “biggest UFC fight card in network television history,” and while that may be debatable, Saturday’s show at San Jose’s SAP Center certainly delivered. Robbie Lawler (24-10 MMA, 9-4 UFC) earned a welterweight title shot with a spectacular main event performance against the previously surging Matt Brown (19-12 MMA, 12-7 UFC) and now has the opportunity to dethrone divisional kingpin Johny Hendricks once he recovers from a bicep injury. The rest of the main card was a mixed bag of results as Anthony Johnson (18-4 MMA, 9-4 UFC), Dennis Bermudez (14-3 MMA, 7-1 UFC) and Bobby Green (23-5 MMA, 4-0 UFC) had standout performances.
