Jake Ellenberger Jake Ellenberger  defined his submission victory over Josh Koscheck at UFC 184 as a “step in the right direction.” Ellenberger (30-9 MMA, 9-5 UFC) entered this past Saturday’s welterweight fight with Koscheck (17-9 MMA, 15-9 UFC) on a three-fight losing skid. He hadn’t registered a victory in nearly two years and was lacking job security. He said he would respond to the critics by reviving “The Juggernaut” inside the octagon . He didn’t starch his opponent with a knockout as he has in past performances, but Ellenberger did manage to submit Koscheck in memorable and mouth-foaming fashion to get back in the win column. “It was definitely a big win for me and a step in the right direction,” Ellenberger told MMAjunkie Radio
