A few days after receiving his walking papers from the UFC, Jairzinho Rozenstruik has broken his silence. The UFC wasted little time – roughly 48 hours – in deciding to release Rozenstruik after his unanimous decision defeat to Serghei Pavlovic last Saturday at UFC Fight Night 250 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In an Instagram post on Thursday, Rozenstruik opened up about the UFC’s decision, as well as his lackluster performance, which he partially blamed on a new coat of paint in the locker rooms at ANB Arena. “After a strong fight week, I felt dizzy on Saturday due to the paint fumes,” Rozenstruik wrote
