Jack Jenkins avoided broken bones at UFC 293 but still needs to check for ligament damage. Jenkins (12-3 MMA, 2-1 UFC) dislocated his right elbow when attempting to defend a throw attempt from opponent Chepe Mariscal (15-6 MMA, 2-0 UFC) in the second round of their featherweight bout this past Saturday at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney. When Jenkins incorrectly planted on his arm, Mariscal followed him to the ground and landed a punch to score the TKO stoppage at 3:19 of Round 2. Wearing a sling, Jenkins released a statement on Instagram to give an update on his injury. “Dislocated my elbow yesterday, went straight to the hospital,” Jenkins said
