Gina Carano Four months after negotiations with the UFC came to a grinding halt, Gina Carano is back in the gym. Carano popped up on former Bellator MMA champion Zoila Frausto’s Instagram account this past weekend following a training session at Combat Sports Academy in Dublin, Calif.: “I feel so fortunate!” wrote Frausto, who’s also planning an MMA comeback this year. Carano (7-1) stepped away from MMA in 2009.
