Pam Sorenson used a takedown-heavy attack to outwork Kaitlin Young to become Invicta FC’s new featherweight champion Friday night. Sorenson (8-3) beat Young (10-10-1) with scores of 50-44, 49-45 and 48-45 in the five-round Invicta FC 36 main event. Sorenson won the 145-pound belt that was vacated when Felicia Spencer left for the UFC. She became Invicta’s fourth featherweight champion after Cris Cyborg, Megan Anderson and Spencer
