LAS VEGAS – Before her pro debut just a couple years ago, Faith Van Duin was admittedly a non-athletic, lazy, goal-lacking mom who was doing little to inspire her young daughters. Now? She’s a day away from fighting the most fearsome 145-pound female fighter in the world. At Thursday’s Invicta FC 13 event at Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Van Duin (5-1) meets reigning featherweight champion Cristiane Justino (13-1) in the UFC Fight Pass-streamed headliner. It’s an enormous challenge for the 29-year-old New Zealander, who began training three-and-a-half years ago with no real athletic background to speak of.
