The coach for UFC women’s bantamweight Julianna Pena  on Monday told MMAjunkie that the fighter’s recent severe knee injury was a training accident – and not the result of “horseplay or assault” in the gym that has been alleged on social media. Rick Little, from Sik-Jitsu Fighting Systems in Spokane, Wash., released a statement to MMAjunkie that serves as a rebuttal to the criticism his gym has received in the wake of Pena’s knee injury – criticism that has come from as high up as UFC President Dana White. Little also praised Pena for her determination to work through past injuries, as well as the fighters in his gym
