Neither Conor McGregor nor Jorge Masvidal are expected to display their in-cage abilities in the coming weeks (or even months), but their trash-talking talents were on full display Thursday on Twitter. One day after Masvidal (35-15 MMA, 14-9 UFC) withdrew from his UFC 269 fight against Leon Edwards due to injury, McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) initiated a brief back-and-forth with the lone “BMF” champion in UFC history. Shortly thereafter, Masvidal responded. His managers, Malki and Abe Kawa of First Round Management, were quick to follow and back their fighter. Check out the full exchange below.
