Filed under: News , UFC Gunnar Nelson gave it his best effort, but an ankle injury ultimately forced him out of what would’ve been just his second UFC headliner. As reported this past week, an undisclosed injury had forced Nelson (15-2-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) out of Northern Ireland’s planned UFC Fight Night 99 main event with welterweight Dong Hyun Kim (21-3-1 MMA, 12-3 UFC).
