Glover Teixeira has positioned himself as a title contender once again and he’s eyeing a fellow streaking light heavyweight for his next test. Teixeira (31-7 MMA, 14-5 UFC) notched his fourth win in a row when he stopped Anthony Smith in the main event of UFC on ESPN+ 29 in a “Performance of the Night” showing. With light heavyweight champion Jon Jones currently in dispute with the UFC and threatening to vacate his belt, the title picture has been complicated somewhat. But, in the meantime, Teixeira said he is eyeing a matchup with fellow contender Jan Blachowicz next, and said that he hopes victory over the Pole would be enough to earn him a second shot at UFC gold
