Mazany earned her first octagon victory at UFC Fight Night 122 when she topped Yanan Wu (9-2 MMA, 0-1 UFC) by unanimous decision in their women’s bantamweight bout at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, which streamed on UFC Fight Pass. After suffering a first-round submission loss to former title challenger Sara McMann in a short-notice fight at UFC Fight Night 105 on February, Mazany was afforded a full training camp for her second UFC bout.
