Upon his release from the UFC in 2013 after three losses in four fights, Reuben Duran has managed to turn his career around and has since picked up three straight wins. In one of those wins earlier this year, Duran picked up the King of the Cage flyweight championship, and recently made his first defense of the title on Aug. 29 against Andrew Natividad, winning via unanimous decision. “I wanted to come in there and counter him and catch him on the way in, but as we were fighting, I noticed his game plan was a lot of movement and really not engage, so I felt it made it very difficult,” said Duran of his win over Natividad.
