Frankie Edgar won’t have to travel far for his next fight. Edgar (24-9-1 MMA, 18-9-1 UFC), a former lightweight champion, has been booked for a bantamweight bout against Marlon Vera (19-7-1 MMA, 11-6 UFC) at UFC 268. A person with knowledge of the booking confirmed the matchup to MMA Junkie following an initial report from UFC broadcast partner ESPN . While not yet formally announced, UFC 268 is expected to take place Nov.
