Former two-time UFC champion announces retirement

Former two-time bantamweight champion  Dominick Cruz expected to fight one more time and had booked his retirement fight.  Cruz was slated to face  Rob Font on Feb. 22 at UFC Fight Night 252 but was forced out of the bout due to a shoulder injury.  That news came on Wednesday.  A day later the 39-year old announced his retirement from fighting in a length statement posted to social media.
