Following his release by the UFC, former Strikeforce middleweight champion and onetime UFC title challenger Jake Shields has signed with World Series of Fighting. Shields’ manager, Lex McMahon, on Thursday confirmed Shields’ signing to MMAjunkie following an initial report from Bleacher Report .
