When the UFC’s new partner starts knocking on doors around the world, the former Bellator lightweight champion thinks a lot of fighters are going to be seen in a new light. He anticipates a lot of a-ha moments. And, as he puts it, more than a few “I knew its.” But, he added, that’s a welcome thing – even “fun,” as he told MMAjunkie one day after the UFC’s announcement. To him, fighters who use performance-enhancing drugs have a lower threshold for quitting and lack the grit and determination to become a champion. “I’ve never been a guy to look for them; I just focus on hard work,” he told MMAjunkie.
