Newton’s drug test result was positive for marijuana metabolites, showing a result above 100 ng/mL, Mike Mazzulli, the director of the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation, told MMAWeekly.com . Newton was subsequently fined $3,000, suspended for 90 days, and must provide a clean drug test prior to returning to competition
