Benjamin Smith and Indalecio Tat Romero have both been on a tear on the regional scene, leading to a clash tonight for the RFA welterweight championship at RFA 24. Smith (13-2) started his career out of Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas and he has returned to the camp ahead of the fight with Romero (24-5), but the main event bout should still have Mystic Lake Casino & Hotel in Prior Lake, Minn., rocking – both men are from “The North Star State.” Smith appeared on a recent edition of MMAjunkie Radio, where he discussed the twists and turns that have led him from Minnesota to Vegas and the support he gets from the trainers at Xtreme Couture. “I got started out here in Vegas, actually at Xtreme Couture, pretty much,” Smith said
