Jon Jones It appears UFC light-heavyweight champion Jon Jones is getting in the rankings business. Following former opponent Alexander Gustafsson ’s loss to Anthony Johnson in Saturday’s UFC on FOX 14 headliner (and another night of not-so-mysteriously deleted tweets ), Jones issued his own top five for the division. Jones, who tweeted that he was “not impressed” by Gustafsson (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) after his first-round TKO loss to Johnson (19-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) in Stockholm (and then deleted it), subsequently issued his top 5. Not surprisingly, he’s at the top of the list. Gustafsson, meanwhile, falls behind Johnson, Rashad Evans and Daniel Cormier (via Twitter ): Myself 1.AJ 2.Evans 3.DC 4.Gus — Jon Bones Jones (@JonnyBones) January 26, 2015 Heading in to Saturday’s network-televised event, the USA TODAY Sports/MMAjunkie MMA light-heavyweight rankings had the fighters in the following order: Jones, Gustafsson, Cormier, Evans and Johnson.
