NORFOLK, Va. – Felicia Spencer wants a crack at champ-champ Amanda Nunes. The former Invicta FC featherweight champion believes she’s next in line to challenge UFC featherweight and bantamweight champion Nunes for her 145-pound strap. Spencer’s claim at the next title shot comes off her most recent win, as she put on a dominant performance on Saturday night at UFC on ESPN+ 27. Spencer (8-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) stopped Zarah Fairn with vicious ground-and-pound in the first round of their co-main event bout. “I didn’t really get to see Megan perform, I heard it was great, but I think I put myself in a great position to get a shot,” Spencer told reporters, including MMA Junkie. “So we just need to have a conversation with the UFC.” Related Heartbroken Joseph Benavidez 'in some freakin' nightmare' after another title-fight loss UFC on ESPN+ 27 results: Felicia Spencer runs through Zarah Fairn UFC on ESPN+ 27 results: Megan Anderson KOs Norma Dumont in first, calls for title shot against Amanda Nunes Also on Saturday’s card, fellow featherweight contender Megan Anderson picked up a first-round finish, knocking out Norma Dumont
