Although for weeks all signs – and even a couple premature reports – were pointing to Fedor Emelianenko finally fighting for the UFC when he makes his return to mixed martial arts, they mystery still remains. A guest at Bellator MMA’s Dynamite Fan Fest in San Jose, Calif., on Thursday, Fedor addressed his return to MMA, but he didn’t shed any light on whether or not he would be headed to the UFC. It’s been three years since we’ve seen “The Last Emperor” step into a cage or a ring to fight. But Fedor said he continued to train the entire time – albeit not at the same pace as he would for a specific fight – and he is returning now because, simply put, “I feel I am ready.” So what’s the hold-up?
