LOS ANGELES – Erik Perez ’s decision to sign with Bellator was pretty easy. The UFC and Combate Americas veteran says he signed simply because he was eager to fight and Bellator was the perfect place to make it happen. “I want to fight soon is why I signed with Bellator,” Perez said Tuesday’s Dominance MMA media day. “Now I’m free, and Bellator got me and I want to fight very soon in December, November, I’m ready for Bellator to ask me to fight.” Having recently signed with Dominance, “Goyito” says he was advised by his new manager, Ali Abdelaziz, to sign with Bellator, and Perez (19-6 MMA) is ready to take on the best the promotion has to offer. Since departing from the UFC, Perez signed with Combate, picking up two finishes over David Fuentes and Andres Ayala, and has won his last five fights overall.
