A welterweight fight between Ed Ruth and Jason Jackson is the latest addition to Bellator 231. Former Penn State wrestler Ruth (7-1 MMA, 7-1 BMMA) and LFA welterweight champ Jackson (10-3 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) will square off on the main card of the event, a promotion official told MMA Junkie on Thursday. Bellator 231 takes place Friday, Oct. 25, at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. The main card airs on Paramount and streams on DAZN following prelims on MMA Junkie. Ruth most recently fought at Bellator 224 in July, when he defeated former UFC fighter Kiichi Kunimoto by second-round TKO.
