Dustin Poirier has offered a mea culpa regarding his recent Twitter spat with Conor McGregor . Earlier this week, Poirier responded McGregor’s trilogy fight prediction by letting it be known that McGregor had yet to keep his word on making a $500,000 donation to The Good Fight Foundation. According to Poirier, McGregor’s team simply stopped replying to communication attempts regarding the money that McGregor pledged to donate prior to their rematch at UFC 257. In the wake of this, McGregor became irate at Poirier for “smearing” his name and threatened to cancel their UFC 264 fight.
