On Wednesday, news broke that Poirier (24-5 MMA, 16-4 UFC) suffered an injury, forcing the cancellation of his UFC 230 lightweight fight against Nate Diaz. The nature of the injury was not revealed, however. And it’s still a mystery after Poirier issued a statement Thursday, calling it a “small setback” but offering no details (via Twitter ).
