UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejcyk had to undergo surgery on her broken thumb after all. Jedrzejczyk broke her thumb when making the first defense of her title on June 20 at UFC Fight Night 69. She defeated Jessica Penne , but suffered the injury in the process.
