Cerrone (26-6 MMA, 14-3 UFC) made headlines by stepping in on two weeks’ notice to fight ex-champ Benson Henderson (21-5 MMA, 9-3 UFC) in the co-headliner of Sunday’s FOX Sports 1-televised UFC Fight Night 59 event. But after a close decision to pick up his seventh straight victory (watch the Cerrone vs. Henderson video highlights ), Cerrone said he would like to take a breather before returning – against top contender Khabib Nurmagomedov (22-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC).
