LAS VEGAS – Dillon Danis ’ punishment for his role in the infamous UFC 229 brawl involving Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor is finally official. Nearly four months after the post-fight melee, the Nevada State Athletic Commission today ruled that Bellator’s Danis, who served as one of McGregor’s cornermen at UFC 229, has been suspended seven months. The suspension is applied retroactively to the Oct. 6 event, meaning he’s eligible to return to competition May 6.
