Hettes reportedly passed out backstage and wasn’t allowed to compete , leaving Brandao with a “strange feeling” after training so hard for tonight’s event at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena. “I feel really upset; I trained hard for this fight,” said Brandao (18-10 MMA, 4-3 UFC), whose fight with Hettes (11-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC) was scheduled to be third on the fight card. “But I put the victory into the hands of God. I believe in God, (and that) this didn’t happen for no reason.” Brandao, who won “The Ultimate Fighter 14,” hoped to snap a two-fight losing streak in the UFC’s octagon; most recently, he was stopped this past July in the first round by Conor McGregor
