Former UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao (32-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) doesn’t think he cuts too much weight to fight at 135 pounds, despite passing out while cutting weight for a title rematch with champ T.J. Dillashaw (10-2 MMA, 6-2 UFC) at Saturday’s UFC 177. Speaking to UFC commentator Joe Rogan on FOX Sports 1, Barao blamed the situation not on the amount of weight he cuts, but the fact that he hit his head after passing out and was forced to go to the hospital. “I’ve had 35 fights cutting weight this method,” he said through translator Derek Lee. “It’s always been fine for me.
