Kamaru Usman was adamant about a UFC Fight Night 129 replacement opponent being ranked. He’s got what he wants and then some. The promotion today announced that former welterweight title challenger Demian Maia will step in on roughly three weeks notice to take on Usman in the event’s new main event after original headliner Santiago Ponzinibbio withdrew last weekend because of an injury.
