Figueiredo (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) was the final fighter to step on the scale at Friday’s official weigh-in, and he came in 2.5 pounds over the required 125-pound limit for his planned championship bout with Joseph Benavidez (28-5 MMA, 15-3 UFC), which headlines UFC on ESPN+ 27.
