UFC on ESPN 39 is down a man. Austin Lingo has withdrawn from his bout against David Onama , which was scheduled for Saturday’s card at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Two people with knowledge of the lineup change informed MMA Junkie of the withdrawal but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an announcement. The promotion currently is seeking a short-notice replacement to fight Onama (9-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC). It is unclear why Lingo (9-1 MMA, 2-1 UFC) withdrew from the bout. Onama, 28, has gathered a lot of attention despite his split two-fight stint in the UFC thus far
