Darren Till acknowledges that his road to UFC gold will take longer than anticipated, but he won’t be discouraged. Till rose to a welterweight title shot against Tyron Woodley in 2018, but after falling short, he’s been stuck in a rough patch. The 29-year-old now has lost four of his past five and is coming off back-to-back setbacks to former champion Robert Whittaker and most recently Derek Brunson. Till (18-4-1 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) has been on UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya ’s  radar for a while now, but Till knows that fight won’t happen unless he can string together a few wins.
