Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier have been offered a fight. According to UFC president Dana White, the promotion has proposed a fight to the two contenders following a back-and-forth they had on social media earlier this week. “(Conor) called out Poirier for a fight with (him) in Dublin for charity,” White said, in an interview with Barstool Sports . “So we offered them both a fight. We offered Dustin and Conor a fight, so we’re waiting to hear back from both of them.” On Monday, McGregor and Poirier engaged in a Twitter dialogue , agreeing to compete in a charity exhibition fight in Ireland later this year. It’s unclear given their contractual statuses whether or not an exhibition could happen outside the UFC.
