LEDYARD, Conn. – Shortly after being acquitted of charges against him, Thiago Silva was welcomed back to the UFC on Friday. The light heavyweight got into some trouble with the law in February in an alleged incident involving his wife. But the charges against him were dropped after his wife was “uncooperative,” and possibly no longer living in the United States. After the incident occurred in February, the UFC parted ways with the Brazilian, and UFC President Dana White said he’d never be back with the promotion.
